Marina Portnoff and Sharon Green have been lifelong friends and have always shared an interest in business. Having gone through numerous cleaning ladies over the years, they felt very unsatisfied. It was difficult to find reliable, thorough and trustworthy people. They recognized the need for a personalized cleaning service that paid attention to detail and was customer focused. After doing market research and putting to use their experience, skills and shared philosophy that the customer always comes first, they set out to create the solution, a company that would differentiate itself from the rest and maidtoorder.ca was born.
Marina is a people person who grew up in a family business. She has a business background and years of sales and customer service experience, with a record of achieving very high levels of customer satisfaction. Marina and two partners launched a very successful computer software company over 15 years ago. Marina has turned the same energy and attention to maidtoorder.ca with the goal of creating the residential cleaning service you’ve been waiting for.
Sharon first flexed her entrepreneurial muscle while in university with a costume jewellery business, and then by renting night clubs and hosting dances. She went on to work for Fortune 500 Companies, traveling North America managing National Accounts ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and success. She left this position to set up and manage her husband’s busy chiropractic practice. Sharon is also the inventor of SoxSavers which were brought to market this year and featured on Breakfast Television.
